Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly fearing security and privacy breaches.

According to Daily Mail, the royal couple had a third fence installed outside Frogmore Cottage while they are celebrating Thanksgiving outside of the United Kingdom.

The new fence was estimated to have cost the Crown Estate around $15,000, and it sits behind a traditional wooden picket fence that had surrounded the property. The fence has also made it impossible for onlookers or passers-by to view even just Frogmore Cottage’s garden or its nearby paths.

As of late, it is still unknown the third fence is part of the beefed-up security arrangements or an attempt to improve the privacy of the home. It is also possible that the third fence was simply installed to make the garden look more attractive.

But just recently, concerns were raised after officials realized how close visitors to neighboring Frogmore House could get to the cottage during annual open days last summer.

Frogmore Cottage is open three days a year but this is believed to put Prince Harry, Markle, and their son at risk. A source told the publication last summer that they were expecting that the three days will be canceled but were surprised when it was given the go-ahead.

“But there are a lot more restrictions in place than in previous years for obvious reasons. They've fitted new security cameras outside the cottage and brand-new wooden gates. Still, it's very surprising how close the public can get,” the source said.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Markle also made headlines this week after they greeted their American friends and supporters a Happy Thanksgiving. Initial reports claimed that the royal couple is celebrating the holidays with Markle’s mom, Doria Ragland, in the United States.

However, there are also some rumors suggesting that the Sussexes are in Canada. The palace previously said that they won’t disclose details of Prince Harry and Markle’s trip to the public due to security concerns.
