Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will likely return to the U.K. in the future.

Royal experts have mixed opinions about how the Duke and Duchess of Sussex felt after Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee. Some speculated how they were treated would only reinforce their decision to distance themselves from the firm. But etiquette expert Elaine Swann believed Prince Harry and Markle would still return to his home country.

Swann recently joined Us Weekly royal correspondent Christina Garibaldi for the "Royally Us" podcast and talked about the Sussexes. Garibaldi mentioned that Prince Harry and Markle had just extended their lease at Frogmore Cottage, and she hoped they would be back for more events in the future.

"I believe they will," Swann said. "Yeah, I think the fact that they're extending that lease lets us know that they'll definitely be back for more events in the future."

Swann also discussed Prince Harry's security concerns. Prince William's brother got embroiled in a legal battle with the U.K.'s Home Office over security for himself and his family. He said he didn't feel safe bringing his wife and children to the U.K. However, he returned to his home country with them, suggesting that he might have gotten what he wanted, according to Swann.

"The other thing that was really great is it seemed like Harry got what he wanted," the expert continued. "He wanted proper security for his family, and it appears as though he did receive what he had requested. That says a lot too."

Last month, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex quietly renewed the lease of their official residence in England. Prince Harry and Markle stayed at Frogmore Cottage during the Platinum Jubilee. They also held their daughter Lilibet's first birthday there.

The move sparked rumors that they would be spending more time in his home country. However, some believed that Prince Harry probably renewed the lease because he is still one of the four Counsellors of State and is required to have some type of residence in the United Kingdom to continue his role.

Meanwhile, Garibaldi spoke with royal biographer Christopher Andersen, the author of "Brothers and Wives: Inside the Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry and Meghan," in a different podcast episode. Unlike Swann, he felt that Prince Harry was "digging in" after the Platinum Jubilee.

"I think, if anything, this kind of treatment at their hands just makes them more determined to live a separate life," he told Garibaldi when asked if Prince Harry had some regrets after the obvious divide during the jubilee celebration.
