Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s baby can be anything they want him or her to be because he or she will be free from the pressures of being an heir to the throne.

Ted Powell, a royal author, revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s firstborn will have an easier life compared to cousin Prince George. Prince William and Kate Middleton’s eldest child will one day become King.

“It is very unlikely the Sussex sprog will succeed to the throne. The good news is that the new baby can be anything they want to be. It’s unlikely they will have heavy royal duties. So maybe Sussex sprog will be a furniture maker like Lord Snowdon, or an equestrian, like Zara Tindall. Harry has close ties with the armed forces so a son might well be drawn to the military,” he told Express.

And if Prince Harry and Markle will have a baby girl, Powell said that she may follow in her mom’s footsteps of becoming an actress.

“A royal film star would be a box office and then some. Alternatively, she might take up a modeling career like her distant cousin Lady Amelia,” the author said.

Markle’s pregnancy was announced by the Kensington Palace on Monday last week. In the statement, the palace revealed that the members of the royal family are delighted with the news. Markle’s mom, Doria Ragland, is also excited to become a grandmother.

On Saturday, Markle’s estranged dad, Thomas Markle Sr., also released a statement regarding his daughter’s pregnancy.

“I was filled with love, joy, and happiness for both my daughter and my son-in-law. A new baby is a blessing and I look forward to seeing a little Meghan or a little Harry,” he said (via E! News).

After he heard the news, Thomas said that he reminisced about Markle’s youth and the time that she was born.

“When they handed her to me, and I held her in my arms for the first time, it was love at first sight,” he gushed.
