Prince Harry ‘Missing’ Friends After ‘Pushing’ Them Away Because Of Meghan, Source Says

Prince Harry is reportedly missing his good friends who are in London. The Duke of Sussex has been staying in Canada with his wife and son for the past two weeks.

A source told The Sun that the Duke of Sussex has been reaching out to his longtime friends now more than ever via their group chat on WhatsApp. Prince Harry has been sending his friends funny pictures and videos.

The report comes months after it was revealed that Prince Harry has pushed his friends aside ever since he wed Meghan Markle. Last year, Tatler revealed that Prince Harry banished her childhood friend, Skippy after he became close to Serena Williams, George Clooney, and Amal Clooney.

An insider told Express that Prince Harry was forced to cut ties with Skippy because Markle thinks that he’s a bad influence.

“Like several others who were considered a questionable influence on Harry during his bad old bachelor days, Tom has been dropped, even though he himself now has a lovely wife, Lara. It's all part of Meghan's quiet airbrushing out of Harry's old posse. She doesn't want temptation - of any sort - being put in his way while they concentrate on starting a family,” the source said.

A source also told People that Prince Harry started cutting off a slew of his friends six months into Markle’s pregnancy with Archie.

“Most no longer even have his cell number. They totally understand that men often drift from their friends after marriage, but there's still a lot of resentment because they had been close for so long,” the source said.

Meanwhile, Markle has kept all of her friendships from before she started dating Prince Harry. In fact, she has become much closer to Jessica Mulroney, Williams, and Misha Nonoo.

The Duchess of Sussex has cut ties with some members of her family, particularly her dad, Thomas Markle Sr., and half-siblings Thomas Jr. and Samantha Markle.
