Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appeared to be in great spirits when they attended the wedding of Misha Nonoo and Michael Hess in Italy on Friday. However, a resurfaced report claims the Duke of Sussex may have had mixed feelings about his relationship with Meghan.

While Harry and Meghan were dating, the two attended a different friend’s wedding in 2017. Unlike their appearance in Italy, the couple didn’t appear to be in sync with one another.

At the time, body language expert, Judi James observed pictures of Meghan and Prince Harry at the gathering. After reviewing the photos, she told FEMAIL that the Duke of Sussex didn’t seem interested in holding a conversation with Meghan.

“In a nutshell, he looks bored and distant, and she’s trying to get his attention. Meghan is very much trying to signal them as a trophy couple, but he’s not playing ball,” she explained.

Prince Harry and Meghan had been dating for about eight months when they attended the nuptials of Tom Inskip and his bride, Lara Hughes-Young. James admitted she was surprised by the way Harry treated his then-girlfriend.

“Harry was clearly besotted at that point, and I expected to see him soppy, and in love with her. He’s not making a huge effort to bring her into the social group,” the expert stated.

“He’s there looking very much like a best mate of the groom, talking to the guys, and actually, ignoring her because she is standing behind him.”

Although Meghan tried to include herself in the conversation, Harry dismissed her attempts. “He does actually appear to be ignoring her, but she’s trying to turn it into a passionate, me-and-my-trophy-man kind of shot,” James claimed.

“She’s very much trying to make them look like a couple here, even with that half-smile on her face. It’s a very loved-up look.”

Although the former “Suits” star appeared to be smitten with Harry in the photos, their roles have since reversed.

Prince Harry and Meghan married in May 2018 at St George’s Chapel in Windsor. The couple welcomed their first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, the following year. Nowadays, insiders claim Harry goes to great lengths to keep his wife happy.
