The pre-World Cup matches conclude with Germany defeating Japan. The new episode of "The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup" Episode 4 is titled "Prince vs Prince."

The official website has released the synopsis and spoiler stills of Episode 4. After witnessing Germany destroying Japan in the last match, Ryoma exits the venue and encounters Sakurano, who seems to be in trouble.

Ryoma tries to confront the bad guys harassing Sakurano. Later, Ryoma and Sakurano meet a boy who plays tennis while riding a horse.

In the last episode, titled "A Moment Ahead in the Future," Jurgen Borisovich Volk entered the court and the crowd started chanting his name. The third match between Germany and Japan was about to begin.

For Germany, Volk and A. Frankensteiner were playing doubles against Japan's Kazuya Tokugawa and Seiichi Yukimura.

The first serve from Volk proved the difference between an amateur and a pro. His serve was blazing fast as Tokugawa and Yukimura were startled by Volk's sheer technique and control.

The match continued and the German pair dominated the court.

"The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup" anime is based on the original story by Takeshi Konomi. Its opening theme song, "I can fly," is performed by Yoshiki Ezaki and Bleecker Chrome. The ending theme song, "Dear Friends," is by TeniPri Artistars.
