Prince William and Prince Harry took a beautiful photo of Princess Diana several years ago when they were still kids.

The picture, which was uploaded online via The Sun, shows the late Princess of Wales smiling from ear to ear. Her stunning blue eyes are highlighted in the snap as she leans forward during her visit to Carol Bartholomew’s home.

At that time, Princess Diana was just 28 years old. And the camera that Prince William and Prince Harry used was owned by Bartholomew’s son Jack’s nanny, Mary Bruce.

In the second photo, the royal siblings snapped a special moment between their mom, Bartholomew and Jack. The photos were kept by Bruce together with her other mementos. Following the nanny’s death in 2007, Bruce gave the collection of rare photos to the son of her good friend, Isabella Paton.

While speaking with Daily Mail, Norie shared details about the photos of Princess Diana that were kept by Bruce for years.

“Diana has been pictured so many times, but these are special. Mary was a family friend for many years and I first saw the pictures when I was visiting my mother’s house in 1989… Mary was there and showed them to us,” he said.

After telling Bruce that the photos are a great memento and that he would love to keep them, the nanny laughed and said that he could but only after her passing.

“She told me the boys borrowed her camera and took the photographs. It was a very nice afternoon… I think she’d be really happy that the pictures are being published now and I am sure they will bring as much pleasure to the public as they have brought to me and my son,” he said.

Princess Diana tragically passed away following a fatal car crash in Paris on Aug. 31, 1997. At that time, her sons were still very young. Prince William and Prince Harry were reportedly shocked and devastated over the news.
