  • Princess Beatrice could announce her pregnancy this year
  • The odds for her and Princess Eugenie to announce their pregnancies this year are high
  • Princess Beatrice's royal wedding has been canceled

Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s royal wedding on May 29 has been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. But a source claimed that the royal couple is planning on doing something huge.

UK bookmakers claimed that 2020 will still be huge for Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie because they could celebrate a double pregnancy soon. The odds for Princess Eugenie announcing her pregnancy are at 5/1, while the odds for Princess Beatrice to announce her pregnancy are at 8/1.

A source also told New Idea that Princess Beatrice and Mozzi are desperate to start their own family and the wedding cancelation won’t stop them from pushing through with their plans to have a baby.

“Her plan all along has been to fall pregnant on her honeymoon, straight after the wedding. But now that the wedding’s off, Bea doesn’t want to wait for any more. The truth is it could be a year before they can walk down the aisle, and she’s not prepared to put her baby plans on hold for that long,” the source said.

However, even though the odds for Princess Beatrice to announce her pregnancy are high, there is no confirmation that she and Mozzi are planning on having a baby even before they tie the knot. As such, it is best to take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt.

The source also claimed that Princess Beatrice’s wedding is cursed since this is the third time that it has been postponed. This statement coincided with what royal commentator Omid Scobie said.

Scobie also suggested that Princess Beatrice and Mozzi’s wedding will take place in 2021. However, the final date hasn’t been confirmed yet.

“We heard before that the Queen was hosting a reception at Buckingham Palace in the gardens, that's no longer taking place. The couple is now working with the Government and taking Government advice to decide whether even a private marriage might take place among a tiny group of friends and family. From what I've heard after speaking with sources was the couple are now looking at postponing entirely until 2021,” Scobie said on the “Heir Pod” podcast.
