Princess Diana Jumped When Prince William Almost Fell On Monkey Bars [VIDEO]

Princess Diana was a doting mom to Prince William and Prince Harry.

An unearthed video of the royal mom and her two sons that was shared on Instagram showed Prince William playing in a military uniform alone. He answers a toy phone, runs around and slides down as Princess Diana watches him. The Princess of Wales checks Prince Harry in the playhouse as Prince William climbs the rope.

Then the clip cuts to Princess Diana carrying Prince Harry as the Duke of Cambridge continues to climb the monkey bars. Suddenly, Prince William almost fell off, and Princess Diana quickly jumped to her feet. Luckily, the little prince held onto the bars tight and didn’t fall to the ground.

Another scene features little Prince Harry enjoying the slide. Prince Harry has a great time on the swing too with his big brother behind him pushing it. Clearly, the three royals have a great time together.

Princess Diana was a hands-on mom. In fact, one time Prince William’s nanny was absent during their stay at Balmoral. Princess Diana took over and the Queen wasn’t pleased.

According to Andrew Morton in his 2011 book “William and Catherine,” Queen Elizabeth II exclaimed, “I don’t understand why Diana has to do this. There are millions of housemaids around.”

Princess Diana was keen on letting her two sons live a normal life. She tried to give them the things kids their age love.

For instance, one time she reportedly canceled their lunch at the palace because she would take Prince William and Prince Harry to McDonald’s. Their chef offered to make them burgers but the People’s Princess didn’t change her mind and insisted on having lunch out with her two boys because what they wanted from the store was actually the toys.

According to Paul Burrell, Princess Diana, Prince William and Prince Harry used to spend their Saturday nights munching on burgers and fries, and watching a reality show.

“The three of them would nip to McDonald’s for a Big Mac and fries before coming back to watch [UK reality TV series] Blind Date,” Paul Burrell said. “All three of them would squat on this massive, stuffed hippopotamus Diana had in her sitting room. They loved Blind Date and you’d hear them all screaming things like ‘Oh don’t pick him!’”
