Princess Diana may have likened Camilla Parker Bowles to a Rottweiler, according to one fan.

The particular dog type is a breed of domestic dogs and is also known as the Rottweil butchers’ dogs because their main use was to herd livestock and pull carts laden with butchered meat to the market. Sophie Oldfield wrote in the online forum site Quora that Princess Diana could not also understand why Prince Charles was so attracted to someone like Camilla and even loved her even though she had bad teeth and dandruff.

According to Oldfield, she also didn’t think that Camilla was attractive, especially when she was much younger, because she couldn’t care less about her physical appearance, as well as her fashion choices. “Personally, these days I think she looks good for her age and dresses beautifully. However, that will be due to her dressers and designers… She’s definitely had some dental work, that’s for sure. She looks better now than she did 30 years ago,” she wrote.

But in the book “Prince Charles Biography: The Life of the Prince of Wales and Future King of England,” author Jessica Jayne did not say that it was Princess Diana who criticized Camilla over her appearance. Rather, it was the members of the public who favored the Princess of Wales at the time.

“The public was soon angry at Charles for ditching Diana for someone who had bad teeth from smoking and hair dandruff. Camilla, who was not pretty and was a year older than Charles, was seen as a home-wrecker and was constantly harassed by the press for her role in the failure of the royal marriage,” Jayne wrote.

But at the end of the day, Camilla was the one who still won. She is currently married to Prince Charles, and they have been together for many years. Princess Diana, on the other hand, divorced the future king in 1996.
