Princess Diana would be deeply proud of Prince Harry due to two touching reasons, according to an author.

While speaking with Express, royal author Katie Nicholl said that the late Princess of Wales would be thrilled to see how the Duke of Sussex has become his own man. The princess would also be delighted over her son’s choice of bride.

“I think Princess Diana would be absolutely thrilled Harry has found someone who makes him so happy and that he is about to have a family of his own. She knew that as the spare, Harry was always in William’s shadow, now Harry is his own man with the woman he loves by his side and a baby on the way,” she said.

Princess Diana would also be reportedly happy over the fact that Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, is a strong maternal and intelligent woman who is breaking the royal rules and traditions.

Unfortunately for Princess Diana, she was unable to meet all of her grandchildren with Prince William and Prince Harry. On Aug. 31, 1997, Prince Charles’ ex-wife passed away following a fatal car crash in Paris. It was only 16 years later that Prince William and Kate Middleton welcomed their first child, Prince George.

In 2015, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed Princess Charlotte followed by Prince Louis last year. This month or early May, Markle is expected to give birth to her first child with Prince Harry.

Earlier this month, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced that they will keep their baby’s birth private and will only share the news to the public after they have celebrated as a family.

There are rumors suggesting that Markle has already given birth. However, some royal fans are also convinced that she hasn’t. Regardless of whether or not the “Suits” alum has welcomed her child, royal fans would only know about it when the royals feel it’s the right time.
