Princess Eugenie playfully posed with her older sister, Princess Beatrice, at the UN Meeting in New York City last weekend. Princess Eugenie was also spotted in her Royal Ascot attire.

The 28-year-old princess’ Erdem dress featured summery floral prints on top of a cream-based cloth. It also has a ruffled neckline and long sleeves that are cinched around the wrist and puffed out around the arms.

Princess Beatrice, on the other hand, wore a long-sleeved black dress to the event. The royal siblings are in New York to discuss humanitarian issues in the United Nations.

After attending their official engagement, Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew’s daughters beamed and laughed at one another. They also posed while riding the escalator.

In related news, Princess Eugenie is scheduled to tie the know with Jack Brooksbank on Oct. 12 at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. The couple’s royal wedding will be attended by the members of the royal family. However, there are rumors suggesting that Prince Philip and Kate Middleton might skip the event.

Prince Philip reportedly does whatever he wants. And since he doesn’t have an amicable relationship with Ferguson, he might decide to skip his granddaughter’s nuptials.

Middleton, on the other hand, may opt to be with her younger sister, Pippa Middleton, when she gives birth in October. If Pippa and James Matthews will welcome their first child on the same day as Princess Eugenie’s wedding, Middleton might skip the royal affair.

Royal fans are also wondering whether or not Princess Eugenie title and role will change once she weds Brooksbank. The latter is a commoner, and Queen Elizabeth II may only opt to give him a royal title as a gift but this isn’t required.

“Eugenie and her sister Beatrice are styled as princesses so it wouldn’t be unusual if the Queen offered Jack a title – most likely Earldom. Of course, it’s down to personal choice as to whether he accepts it,” James Brookes, a royal expert, told Express.
