Princess Eugenie was recently praised by royal fans for her active involvement in humanitarian work even though her wedding is just a few weeks away.

On her Instagram account, the 28-year-old princess uploaded a photo of herself during her trip to Serbia last week with the United Nations Trust Fund to help end violence against women. In the picture, Princess Eugenie is shaking hand with an unnamed woman.

“I visited Astra to hear about its SOS hotline which provides support and services to survivors of trafficking and Atina which works to prevent human trafficking of refugee women in the context of the current humanitarian crisis in Serbia as a host and transit country. What an incredibly eye-opening visit meeting outstanding women doing brilliant work to survive and to support,” she wrote.

Minutes after uploading her snap, Princess Eugenie received countless positive comments from her followers.

“Thank you for using your position to help others and shine a spotlight on worthy causes,” one person wrote.

“Bride to be doing humanitarian work with no fuss… Amazing Princess!” another fan wrote.

“Very good indeed. Keep up this important work,” one person wrote.

“Great job your highness,” another fan wrote.

In related news, some fans also commented on Princess Eugenie’s post and asked her why her wedding wouldn’t be televised. Some of them said that they want to see Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s daughter walk down the aisle.

Earlier this week, it was reported that BBC and Sky won’t televise the royal wedding on Oct. 12. However, both networks will air snippets from the nuptials during their news broadcast. As of late, it is still unclear whether or not ITV will take over the airing of Princess Eugenie’s special day.

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank will have a two-day celebration. Georgina Laud, a journalist for Express, said that guests will be invited to return to the Royal Lodge on Oct. 13 for a more relaxed celebration.

“There will be dodgems and funfair rides, coconut shies, lots of food stalls, loads of cocktails, Bloody Mary’s for the hangovers, and a festival vibe,” the source said.
