Princess Eugenie told her best friend to “shut up” when the latter called her a princess.

Princess Eugenie is a true-blooded princess unlike Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle. However, Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew’s youngest daughter doesn’t want to be called “princess.”

In 2008, Prince William and Prince Harry’s cousin sat down with journalist Geordie Greig. During their interview, she shared details about her personal perspective as a royal.

“I don’t like talking about it much and find it annoying when people say things like, ‘Oh, you’re the Princess,’” Princess Eugenie recalled.

“One of my best friends jokingly says, ‘Hi, Princess,’ and I say, ‘Shut up.’ It is one of the things that bugs me most in the world.”

Princess Eugenie and her older sister Princess Beatrice are not full-time working royals like the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Although they are not as visible as their royal cousins, they are sometimes seen attending official engagements with the rest of the members of the Firm.

According to Princess Eugenie they want to show people who they are as working, young, royal women who are not afraid of putting themselves out there. She also shared the importance of being real as well as the things they learned from their parents.

“We’ve had some serious grounding from our parents. They’ve had their fair share of terrible media interest and it makes us stronger. We believe very strongly in who we are, and the support system of our friends and our family is pretty incredible,” Princess Eugenie said.

In related news, Prince Andrew has already spoken up about the Epstein controversy that has been plaguing him for months. According to the Duke of York, it was not damaging to the Queen, but it affected him.

However, many believed that it would have been better if Prince Andrew did not speak up. One netizen said that the duke ruined Princess Beatrice’s upcoming wedding.

Princess Eugenie was spotted a day after her father’s interview. According to netizens, Princess Eugenie looked sad and many felt that she was affected by her dad’s interview.
