The Princess and the Frog, the latest animated movie from Walt Disney which features the studio's first black princess, Tiana, hits theaters today.

The movie has earned so far 84 percent of positive reviews, according to the site Rottentomatoes.com.

The film is A start-to-finish delight, says film critic Richard Corliss from Time Magazine.

This is the best Disney animated film in years, wrote Kirk Honeycutt from the Hollywood Reporter.

The movie from the creators of The Little Mermaid, and Aladdin, is a tale of princess Tiana and a frog prince who wants to be human again and their adventure through Lousiana, according to the studios' synopsis.

The film is made in 2D animation with music from Oscar winning composer Randy Newman.
