The New York Post and Washington Examiner are making it known they're both pro-Trump. On Monday, the individual publications announced their public support of President Donald Trump and urged its readers to vote red in the upcoming presidential election.

In an article, the Post Editorial Board voiced its support for the president's re-election.

“We can return to the explosive job creation, rising wages and general prosperity we had before the pandemic. We can have economic freedom and opportunity, and resist cancel culture and censorship. We can put annus horribilis, 2020, behind us and make America great again, again. We can do all this — if we make the right choice on Nov. 3,” the site reported, adding, "The New York Post endorses President Donald J. Trump for re-election."

The outlet's support comes after it published an article on Oct. 7 arguing that Democratic nominee Joe Biden used his position as vice-president to enrich his son Hunter. The article was a clear shot at the former VP and was published even after reporters feared that the main sources in the story were not credible, The New York Times reported.

In addition, many Post staff members questioned whether the paper had done enough to verify the authenticity of Hunter's hard drive’s contents, which were the main topic of the article. Post employees also had concerns about the timing of the piece.

As for Washington Examiner, they also voiced their support for Trump Monday. In an article, it argued that the president is “running against a man and, even more, against a party that are deeply flawed and dangerous.”

In an effort to boost its credibility, the Washington Examiner noted that they previously ran stories that criticize the sitting president, even though they are widely regarded as a conservative outlet.

“We have not hesitated to criticize Trump’s often-embarrassing personal conduct. And we have attacked his misguided policies, such as on trade, which has inflicted real harm on ordinary people. But his administration’s policy successes outweigh its failures.

The outlet added, "Trump's manner and character inspire strong doubts, but when conservatives vote, they should keep in mind the damage that Democrats openly promise to inflict on our republic. The only meaningful way to prevent it is to leave Trump where he is."
