It gets steamy in “Quantico” Season 1, episode 5. The new agents in training (NATs) are heading out on their first undercover assignment in Sunday's installment. A new sneak-peek video from the ABC drama shows Alex (Priyanka Chopra) and Ryan (Jake McLaughlin) in character and getting to know each other. However, the agents might take their flirty cover too far.

Sneak Peek No. 1

Ryan asks Alex if it’s her first time at one of these retreats, and he says that it’s nice to escape for the weekend. “What are you escaping from, Jordan?” Alex asks Ryan. “Kids? A wife?”

Ryan, acting as Jordan, claims that he is escaping from his ex-wife. They broke up after he lied. “I told her I still loved her,” Ryan says. “She knew I was lying.”

As Ryan and Alex chat, the camera flashes to later that night when they're alone in their hotel room. It looks like the agents have chosen to ignore the rule that says NATs can’t have romantic relationships with one another.

“How do I know you won’t lie to me too?” Alex asks. “Maybe you already have.”

He turns the question around and asks her what she is escaping from. Alex claims she is always running from something, whether it’s her family or men. “You know it’s OK to stop,” Ryan says.

“I wouldn’t know how,” Alex replies.

“I’ll help you,” he says.

Sneak Peek No. 2

In a clip from the future, Alex is still on the run as a wanted terrorist and is holding Shelby (Johanna Braddy) hostage in her own home. She believes her former friend can help her prove her innocence. Shelby thinks Alex should turn herself in if she is really innocent, but Alex points out that it’s someone at the FBI who is trying to frame her.

“The only real piece evidence points to you,” Alex says.

“You mean the wire that you found in the apartment next to yours?” Shelby asks. “That could point to anyone. It’s military origin, so that’s Ryan. Or the friends that Simon made in Gaza. Or the cartels that Vasquez dealt with as a cop in Texas. Even Caleb could have gotten his hands on it through his family.”

Shelby says that taking a hostage isn’t helping Alex’s case, but the wanted agent isn’t letting her former classmate go. “Even an innocent person needs leverage, and you’re mine,” Alex tells her. “So you better get comfortable because we might be here for a while.”
