The Reason Katie Holmes, Suri Cruise Won’t Spend Time With Jamie Foxx

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have gone to great lengths to keep their relationship out of the spotlight. Lately, it appears the couple isn’t as concerned about hiding their relationship from outsiders. However, when it comes to their kids, their relationship continues to remain under wraps.

Holmes reportedly started dating Foxx following her 2012 divorce from Tom Cruise. The “Dawson’s Creek” alum shares a daughter, Suri, 12, with her ex-husband, while Foxx has two daughters, Corinne, 25, and Annalise, 10, from a previous relationship.

Although Holmes and Foxx have moved on from their past romances, they aren’t ready to involve their kids in their current relationship. “They keep it private and protect it for the most part because they don’t want to disrupt either of their families,” a source told Us Weekly.

“Jamie rarely has her over his house and they mostly hang out separately from their kids,” the insider added.

While the couple reportedly has “great chemistry and a romantic relationship,” it isn’t enough to stop them from living separate lives. Holmes and Foxx aren’t in a traditional relationship, but their arrangement has helped them build a strong bond.

“Their relationship works because of the love, compassion, trust and support they have for each other,” a source previously told Us Weekly.

“They confide in and rely on each other pretty heavily. They’re definitely very serious,” the insider added.

While fans may continue to see photos of Holmes and Foxx spending time together, for the time being, they have no plans to blend their families.
