The Lifetime Christmas movies continue with the premiere of "Record Breaking Christmas," starring Michelle Argyris and Andrew Bushell, on Thursday night.

The film is set to be a treat for fans, as they will likely recognize both stars, who have appeared in Lifetime films before. Argyris has actually become a staple of the Lifetime holiday movie season in recent years, starring in both "Welcome to the Christmas Family Reunion" and "Homemade Christmas."

As for Bushell, he has appeared in Lifetime's "Secretly Santa," "Murder on Maple Drive" and "Twinkle All the Way." Other projects include Hallmark's "Heart of the Holidays" and UpTV's "Dashing Home for Christmas" and "Christmas Catch."

So what can fans expect from the film? According to a synopsis, a town's goal of breaking several records will bring more than just infamy this holiday season.

"Leah Hoffman (Argyris), an adjudicator for The World Record Bureau, draws the short straw and is forced to travel to a small town just before Christmas to investigate its plans to break multiple holiday records," the synopsis reads. "As she falls for the town's doctor, Devan Bancroft (Bushell), she discovers that the whole town is in cahoots, and she just may be the person who can help them reach their true Christmas goal."

"Record Breaking Christmas" airs Thursday at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
