“Red Dead Redemption 2” PC version is one of the heavily speculated and much-awaited releases this year. However, its launch on the PC platform was riddled with a lot of issues that may be caused by the game’s compatibility with various PC components or by the game itself. Game developer Rockstar Games released some fixes and assured users that users who played the game from a particular point through the holidays would receive a free care package loaded with useful items. That promised care package is now available for “Red Dead Online” players, but only if they have created a character by far.

Earlier this week, game developer Rockstar Games announced that the care package of “Red Dead Redemption 2” had been deployed to PC players who met the necessary requirements to get it. To be able to receive the care package, players simply have to play “Red Dead Redemption 2” PC from the time it was rolled out all through the holiday season. However, since it is for Red Dead Online, players need to have a character to be eligible for the care package.

Players who have played “Red Dead Redemption 2” but have not yet explored Red Dead online, according to Rockstar Games, will receive the care package within 24 hours after creating their online character. Among the items that users receive in the care package is the Prieto Poncho. Apparently, this is not yet the end of the gifts that players can receive from “Red Dead Redemption 2.”

Rockstar Games assured players that more gifts and accessories are coming alongside the next major update of the game. When the next major update of Red Dead online arrives on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia next month, PC players will get a version of the brand new Marino Bandolier, a new Off-Hand Holster, and extra care package as a gift, Rockstar stated. “Red Dead Redemption 2” is now playable on various platforms, including the recently launched Google Stadia, PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
