Leslie Webster died on Tuesday after she fell through the ice into a pond in Lakewood. She was walking her dog when the ice gave in. Emergency services arrived within minutes and removed her from the freezing waters. West Metro Fire Rescue has issued a statement warning people not to chase their animals on the ice.
