About 12 people were injured when a liquid nitrogen tank explosion led to the collapse of plant 3 of Beechcraft aviation manufacturing facility in east Wichita, Kansas. Plant 3 and B15 were evacuated while North Webb Road was closed from Central to Kellog. No one was reported dead or trapped in the plant's collapsed structure.

A 28-year-old hiker from Minnesota was killed when a 200-feet tall redwood tree fell and pinned him down during a hike in California's Muir Woods National Monument Park. Las Vegas Man Shot At Airport After ‘Knocking An Officer Unconscious’

An unnamed man was apprehended and shot by police officers at an airport in Las Vegas on Thursday after he was caught in the tarmac of the restricted Terminal 3 area. The man attacked the officers who escorted him into custody and managed to knock one of them. He was shot by an officer after he attempted to attack the other officers.
