Rick and Morty will go on another mission for the final episode of "Rick and Morty" Season 3 that might not be in line with the POTUS.

Adult Swim's "Rick and Morty" Season 3 is airing its final episode on Sunday. Show co-creator Dan Harmon promised that the upcoming episode would be "great." In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, the publication prompted Harmon to share some teaser about it.

"I don't want to poison the well but the finale is a great episode that we finale-ified when we realized we weren't going to be able to make 14," he told EW. "It's Rick in a conflict with the president of the United States. Keith David returns to reprise his role. And that's the main story of that episode, Rick vs. the United States."

In the promo clip released, the upcoming finale features Kennedy's sex tunnel. The teaser shows Rick and Morty approaching a man whom the latter addresses as "Mr. President." "Some kind of alien Booga has infested the Kennedy's sex tunnels," the man says. "I want them hunted down and taken out."

Morty is shocked after hearing the scandalous subject and the POTUS senses his reaction. The president of the United States tells Morty that after the mission, he needs to forget about it. "Naturally, you'll forget you saw them along with in order of national embarrassment the Truman cocaine lounge, the McKinley hooker dump and the Lincoln slave Coliseum" while adding that Lincoln "didn't free them all."

It still unknown how the conflict between Rick and the president will arise given that the grandfather and grandson duo will be doing a mission for the head of the state. However, from Harmon's words, there will be a conflict between the scientist and the politician, which is something that fans should look forward to.

Meanwhile, Inverse felt that the "Rick and Morty" Season 3 finale will have a classic case of misdirection. According to the outlet, the "Big Trouble in Little Sanchez" episode that fans thought would be about Rick infiltrating Morty and Summer's school to root out a vampire turned to be Tiny Rick's teen angst. Also, the episode titled "Tales From the Citadel" that aired during "The Ricklantis Mixup" showed Rick and Morty going to Atlantis but featured Evil Morty taking over the Citadel.

Harmon and Justin Roiland will surely have big surprises for the finale that fans should not miss.
