How will Betty (Lili Reinhart) react when she finds out that her mom has been working with Archie (KJ Apa) and Veronica (Camila Mendes) in “Riverdale” Season 1, episode 11? The CW

The CW just dropped the official teaser and synopsis for “Riverdale” Season 1, episode 11, titled “Chapter Eleven: To Riverdale And Back.”

In the episode, Betty (Lili Reinhart) will be extremely stressed out when she gets assigned to oversee the Homecoming and Reunion at her school. While focusing on the two major events, Betty’s mom, Alice (Madchen Amick), will ask her to help in the investigation of Jason’s (Trevor Stines) murder. Unfortunately, Betty would not be able to extend her help this time around.

Alice will reach out to Veronica (Camila Mendes) and Archie (KJ Apa) for support, and the two will agree to work with Alice. But when Betty finds out that the three have been teaming up, she will become extremely pissed. Betty will also feel extremely uncomfortable when she finds out that her boyfriend, Jughead (Cole Sprouse), is thinking of giving his dad, FP (Skeet Ulrich), a second chance.

Elsewhere, Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) and Polly (Tiera Skovbye) will both attend the Homecoming party in Jason’s honor. While there, they will discover a shocking secret that will destroy their individual plans. Also attending the Homecoming event are Archie’s parents, Fred (Luke Perry) and Mary (Molly Ringwald). The estranged couple will have a good time together, and this will lead Fred to rethink his decision to finalize their divorce.

Meanwhile, “Riverdale” executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly to confirm that “Riverdale” Season 1 will only have a total of 13 episodes. Aguirre-Sacasa also revealed that the final three episodes will unveil more information regarding Archie’s, Betty’s, Jughead’s and Veronica’s parents and their pasts.

“There are still some huge ones, huge secrets to come in the last two or three episodes; kind of game-changing secrets I would say. There’s more of that in the stretch from episodes 11 to 13; you just get deeper and deeper into the swamp of secrets,” he said.

“Riverdale” Season 1, episode 11 will air on The CW on April 27 at 9 p.m. EST.
