Robert Downey Jr. has been on the forefront of tackling various environmental issues with the help of his venture fund Footprint Coalition.

The 56-year-old actor took to Instagram on Wednesday to promote the nonprofit organization. Downey Jr. shared an Instagram reel featuring him painting his foot with a green color, after which he immediately kept one foot on a yellow paper to create multiple impressions.

In the background of the video, the actor played Jack Hylton and his Orchestra's "Happy Feet" music track, which was released in 1992. "Reel it in...happy feet for the @officialfootprintcoalition! #footprintcoalition." he captioned with paint, feet, world, and joining hands emoji.

The official website of the organization, mentioned the actor's quote, "In 11 years, when I’m 65, if we make a noble dent in what I consider is a massive threat to our future - the mess we leave behind - I’m going to come back, and I’m going to throw the nuttiest retirement party you’ve ever seen, and all of you are invited."

Downey Jr. launched this organization in April 2020, which is committed to using advanced technologies to ensure the environment is restored.

"Between robotics and nanotechnology, we could clean up the planet significantly, if not totally, in 10 years,” Downey Jr. said during his appearance at Amazon's re-MARS in Las Vegas. “God I love experts. They’re like Wikipedia with character defects."

Last week, the actor flaunted his eco-friendly guesthouse for The Purist magazine.

"Was such a treat inviting #ThePurist into our eco-friendly guesthouse, aka the “Binishell,’ he captioned on Instagram. "A special thanks to @cristinacuomo and the great people over at @thepurist for this lovely opportunity."

"Here’s some shots and BTS that didn’t make it into the spring issue. Out now and digitally with a link in the know what to do! #bts #DomeHome," he added.

In the work front, Downey Jr. will be seen in the action-adventure movie, "Black Widow," which is slated to release on July 9, 2021. He is currently working on his highly anticipated movie, "Sherlock Holmes 3," which is slated to release on Dec. 22, 2021.
