Sure, “Fifty Shades Darker” is in theaters, but why not watch Netflix movies at home? This Valentine’s Day, there are dozens of romantic films available on the streaming platform. Before Feb. 14 rolls around, check out the summaries for each of these eight romantic films you can watch from the comfort of your own couch.

“How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” (2003)

Magazine reporter Andie (Kate Hudson) is tasked with making ad executive Ben (Matthew McConaughey) fall in love with her and breakup with her all in 10 days time for the sake of a good article. The catch? Ben has a challenge of his own, to make a woman fall in love with him in order to win a big ad campaign. The chemistry between the actors is so apparent in this comedy, they went on to make another film together several years later, so you know it’s worth watching on Valentine’s Day.

“Two Weeks Notice” (2002)

Lucy (Sandra Bullock) decides to quit her job as chief counsel after she deems her boss George (Hugh Grant) too needy. While helping him find him a replacement they learn they were both too wrapped up in their work to realize their true feelings for each other.

“The Heartbreak Kid” (2007)

If you’re looking for more laughs than actual romance this Valentine’s Day, this Farrelly brother film may be what you need. Eddie (Ben Stiller) falls for and marries the woman of his dreams, Lila (Malin Ackerman), only to learn on their honeymoon that she’s not who he thought she was.

“One Day” (2011)

Two college graduates’ lives are followed throughout the course of this drama, which shows them on the anniversary of their first meeting every day over the course of 20 years. Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess star.

“Twilight” (2008)

A century-old vampire (Robert Pattinson) falls in love with teenager Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) when she relocates to rainy Washington state. The film, the first of five in the series, went on to inspire a real-life romance between the two leads which still makes headlines to this day.

“Charlie St. Cloud” (2010)

When Charlie’s (Zac Efron) little brother dies, he learns he can communicate with him from the beyond. But when a woman (Amanda Crew) comes into his life, he must choose to living or keep up the communication with his sibling.

“Leap Year” (2010)

Anna (Amy Adams) is disappointed when her boyfriend doesn’t purpose to her ahead of his big trip to Dublin. “Under the Tuscan Sun” (2003)

A newly single woman (Diane Lane) is gifted a 10-day tour of Tuscany to rediscover herself and meet someone new. What she finds is a home she can’t live without and a potential love interest.
