“Run BTS,” the South Korean variety show starring BTS is rumored to be going on a two-year hiatus and the group’s fans known as ARMY, are not taking it lightly.

The show ran its third season finale, episode 156, last on Oct. 12 which showed the septet taking a trip down memory lane on the early days of the show which was first aired in 2015. Titled “Finale (Part 2),” the episode saw the pop powerhouse participating in various challenges throughout the show’s history including the famous “Photo zone” game where they competed in creating poses according to keywords given by the show’s crew.

But a recently released behind-the-scenes clip of the show shocked the ARMY as it hinted at the beloved show taking a longer break than expected.

“Run BTS 2 year hiatus??? I’m gonna cry oh my God,” user @nyamjinluv said.

The clip features RM, J-Hope, Suga and Jungkook bouncing ideas for a future “Run BTS” episode.

In the conversation, Suga could be heard saying, “I want something like Episode 1 with the white backdrop.”

Namjoon aka RM chimed in and said he will re-introduce himself as “RM, 30” while Jungkook would be 27 years old.

“Let’s start off with that,” Suga said to which Jungkook quickly replied stating, “We’ll start off exactly the same.”

“We’ll even wear the same outfits,” RM added.

While some of the boyband’s fans were sad about the rumored break, others expressed anticipation for the future episodes of the show.

“2 years without Run BTS. This is worst than missing their live,” user @Jeonkarthi said.

In contrast, Twitter user @chimggugie spelled a positive response to the break.

“I'm so happy that RUN BTS became my source of healing ♡ BTS worked the hardest with their tight schedule and never fail to entertain us. It will be a long-break but RUN BTS will be back! Thank you so much and we'll wait for you!," the tweet read.

“Run BTS” previously went on a year-long hiatus and started its second season in 2017 after the first season ended in 2016. “Run BTS” also went on short breaks in the past as the group focused on their music and another reality show, “In The Soop.”

Earlier this month, the show’s creators announced that the variety series will be taking a break, however, its return date is yet to be decided.
