The next time you attend a Selena Gomez concert you may want to leave the “Jelena” signs at home. The “Hands To Myself” singer, who’s on her “Revival” tour, literally crushed one fan's hope that she would reunite with her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber.

During her Sunday concert in Fresno, California, Gomez was performing when she spotted a young female fan standing near the stage with a sign that read, “Marry Justin Please.” Gomez, 23, briefly paused the show and beckoned the fan to hand over the handmade sign. She then took it from the fan, crumbled it up and tossed it on the ground before continuing to sing.

In a February interview with W Magazine, Gomez made it clear she was ready once and for all to move on from Bieber. The two pop stars dated off and on for years, last splitting in 2014. “I’m so exhausted,” she said. “I honestly am so done. I care about his health and well-being. But I can’t do it anymore.”

As previously reported, rumors surfaced last week that Gomez was so determined to avoid Bieber at the Met Gala in New York that she skipped an afterparty at the Boom Boom Room. Bieber was supposedly at the star-studded bash with rumored girlfriend Hailey Baldwin. Instead, Gomez and her friends are said to have partied at Vogue’s Met Gala afterparty.

On Monday, Gomez opened up about her dating life, telling Marie Claire she has started dating again, but this time she’s approaching things a little more cautiously. “I’ve been having the best time. But I don’t trust anybody,” she said. “So dating can only be fun if I know I’m going to have fun.”
