Mourners at a funeral in the U.K broke into an impromptu rave last week while they were giving their deceased loved one "a send-off like no other". Meanwhile, a video showing the friends and family of the deceased dancing to the tracks of a DJ set at the gravesite has left the viewers on social media divided on their opinion.

The incident happened during the funeral of a woman, identified only by her first name Katty, at Witton Cemetery in Birmingham, a city in England’s West Midlands region. The somber moments of grief soon turned into moments of laughter and celebration when the mourners dressed in black danced to the music set at the cemetery, Lad Bible reported.

The video of the incident posted on social media soon went viral with some people appreciating the family's efforts to make the occasion a celebration of life, Leicester Live reported.

"What a lovely tribute, I'm sure Katty would be smiling down," a viewer wrote. "Nice to see a proper celebration of someone's life. "Rip my friend #katty you had a send-off like no other," another added. "A beautiful and fun-filled way to say goodbye to a loved one. Bringing your own DJ is brilliant too. What a send-off," a viewer wrote.

While many viewers commented that Katty would be proud of the celebration, and pleased with the fun funeral she had, some others were concerned about the disrespect displayed at the solemn occasion. They said the mourners not only showed disrespect to the deceased but disregarded others who were buried at the same cemetery.

"Disrespectful to everyone else and their loved ones who are buried there," a viewer commented on the video." Na I don’t rate it, look how many people's graves get stepped on," another complained.

"Everyone deserves a good send-off, but levels of disrespect shown to others already at rest there feel uncomfortable," a viewer said expressing the dissent.

"That's why we have wakes, dance to till you can dance no more then, don't be jumping on other people's loved ones' graves," another viewer with a similar opinion said.
