‘Shadowhunters’ Season 2 Spoilers: Clary Urges Simon To Talk To Seelie Queen

“Shadowhunters” Season 2, episode 19 will see Clary (Katherine McNamara) urging Simon (Alberto Rosende) to talk to the Seelie Queen (Sarah Hyland).

In “Hail and Farewell,” Clary tells Jace (Dominic Sherwood) that she’s tired of feeling afraid all the time. The latter says that he understands because losing someone is not an easy thing to deal with. While dealing with her personal problems, Clary would also have to go on the hunt for Valentine (Alan Van Sprang) and Sebastian (Will Tudor).

Freeform dropped a teaser for the upcoming episode, which sees Clary talking to Simon about the Seelie Queen. Clary wants Simon to reach out to the Seelie Queen while the Downworlders come together to go in search for Valentine and Sebastian as well. Unfortunately, Simon’s conversation with the queen will not end well.

Hyland, whose casting as the Seelie Queen was announced at the 2017 San Diego Comic-Con, will appear in “Shadowhunters” Season 2 for the first time on Monday night. There will be a shift in power, and the actress’ character could be taking over.

Meanwhile, there is only one more episode left before the summer finale of “Shadowhunters” Season 2. Clary, Jace, Isabelle (Emeraude Toubia) and Alec (Matthew Daddario) will have a showdown with their enemies. In the teaser, Alec screams Jace’s name as the latter gets captured by a male villain.

In the sneak peek released by Freeform for “Hail and Farewell,” the four characters enter a room where they find Jonathan (Elias Toufexis) sitting on a chair looking lifeless. When Clary asks Jonathan where Valentine is, Jonathan doesn’t respond to her question. Isabelle tries to move Jonathan and discovers that he’s been killed.

A second sneak peek sees Valentine and Sebastian panicking over being busted by their enemies. Valentine asks Sebastian where the mirror is, but the latter refuses to give him a straight answer. Valentine is worried that Sebastian is cracking under the pressure, but the latter insists that he didn’t tell anyone the truth about the missing mirror or any other information about their plight.

“Shadowhunters” Season 2, episode 19 will air on Freeform on Monday at 8 p.m. EDT.
