'Shikimori's Not Just A Cutie' Episode 5 Spoilers, Synopsis: Summer Vacation And Barbecue

The much-awaited summer vacation begins as Izumi and his friends head to the river in "Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie" Episode 5.

The official synopsis of Episode 5 is out. Izumi and his buddies decide to have a barbecue to kick start their summer vacation.

However, everyone suddenly starts fidgeting when they are preparing the barbecue. Meanwhile, Izumi is mesmerized to see Shikimori. He knows she can do anything and learns about her new side.

In "Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie" Episode 5, after the barbecue, they all played in the river but Izumi finds himself in trouble again.

In Episode 4 of the anime, Izumi, Shikimori, and the others discussed where they would be spending their summer vacation. Hachimitsu suggested they can hit the beach and Shikimori was excited.

However, Izumi feared he would get sunburns and would ultimately have to spend most of his time under an umbrella. The other option was the river, which was comparatively cooler for Izumi.

"The ultimate heartthrob girlfriend appears! Naturally unlucky high school student Izumi's girlfriend is his classmate Shikimori. She has a beautiful smile and kind personality and always seems happy when she's with Izumi," read the official synopsis of "Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie" anime, according to Crunchyroll.

The cast of the anime includes Saori Onishi as Shikimori, Shuichiro Umeda as Izumi, Rina Hidaka as Hachimitsu, Nobuhiko Okamoto as Inuzuka, Misato Matsuoka as Nekozaki, Ayaka Fukuhara as Kamiya, Naomi Kusumi as Akisada Izumi and Emi Shinohara as Motoko Izumi.

"Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie" anime is based on the original work by Keigo Maki.

The opening theme song of the anime is titled "Honey Jet Coaster" and it is performed by nasuo ☆ . The closing theme song, "Route BLUE," is by Yuki Nakashima.
