A supernatural infection spread in Washington, D.C. last week in Fox’s “Sleepy Hollow.” While team witness was able to stop the infection from claiming more lives, Diana’s (Janina Gavankar) daughter Molly (Oona Yaffe) had a disturbing vision. She saw an old and chained Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) being locked up by none other than Malcolm Dreyfuss (Jeremy Davies).

Malcolm has a plan to destroy and then rule the world. What will happen next on the drama series?

Remember how Molly unwittingly summoned a demon? Well, on Friday, she is going to summon another demon but this time, it’s her imaginary friend. In Season 4, episode 9, a monster that resembles her imaginary friend appears in the city, according to the official synopsis. Diana realizes that her daughter’s life will never be normal.

The promo of the upcoming episode, titled “Child’s Play,” shows Molly confiding in Ichabod. She tells him that her imaginary friend thinks that she is helping her but she’s not. The youngest witness is seen sketching her imaginary friend, Mr. Stitch.

Mr. Stitch isn’t some sweet friend. He starts going after the people for whom Molly has negative emotions. That includes her mom, Diana. Mr. Stitch attacks the Homeland Security Agent in her house. Seriously, she needs to stop drawing things in her sketchbook.

In episode 9, Molly starts learning more about her role as a witness. She will get a chance to see the vault for the first time. The vault has a number of texts that describe various supernatural phenomena and creatures. It is the secret history of America.

Neither the promo nor the synopsis mention anything about Dreyfuss’ plans. Last episode, he recruited internet sensation Logan MacDonald (Robbie Kay) to help him in world domination plan.

“Sleepy Hollow” Season 4, episode 9 airs Friday, March 3 at 9 p.m. EST on Fox.
