"Saturday Night Live" fans won't be treated to a new episode tonight as the NBC comedy sketch continues its hiatus.

Downey was a cast member on "Saturday Night Live" from 1985 to 1986, and he returned as a host in 1996. Don Cheadle and Gwyneth Paltrow have also hosted the NBC comedy sketch show.

"Grown Ups" (10 p.m. ET, Comedy Central) After becoming a successful Hollywood agent, Lenny Feder (Adam Sandler) returns to his hometown to attend the funeral of his former basketball coach. While reconnecting with his old friends, Lenny continues to question whether his family should make a change to their glamorous lifestyle.

Along with Sandler, the film features several "SNL" alums, including Chris Rock, Dan Schneider, David Spade, Maya Rudolph, Tim Meadows, and Norm Macdonald.

"Spider-Man 2" (10 p.m. ET, MTV) When a nuclear fusion experiment explosion kills his wife, Dr. Otto Octavius (Alfred Molina) becomes Dr. Octopus and blames Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire) for the accident. As Doc Ock seeks revenge, Peter Parker must protect NYC as his powers weaken and his personal relationships fall apart.

"SNL" will return from hiatus on Jan. 21 with host Aubrey Plaza and musical guest Sam Smith.
