“Saturday Night Live” is on tonight, but it’s not a new episode. A rerun will air on NBC on Jan. 5, but “SNL” fans can still watch some of their favorite comedians on other channels tonight.

“Bridesmaids” (9 p.m. and 12 a.m., E!) “SNL” vets Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph star as best friends preparing for a wedding in this movie, which also features a breakout role for Sean Spicer impersonator Melissa McCarthy.

“The Interview” (10 p.m., Comedy Central) James Franco has hosted “SNL” multiple times, and this movie shows him and Seth Rogen as talk show hosts recruited by the CIA to take out North Korea’s Kim Jong-un.

“Shrek” (10:55 p.m., Freeform) The 2001 animated hit features “Saturday Night Live” alums Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy as well as actress Cameron Diaz, who has made various appearances on the NBC variety show. The movie follows an ogre who needs to save a princess to get his land back.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” (11:30 p.m., TBS) Two-time host Adam Driver stars as the villainous Kylo Ren in “Episode VII,” the first in the latest “Star Wars” trilogy.

“The Longest Yard” (12 a.m., Spike) “Saturday Night Live” vet Adam Sandler stars alongside three-time host John Lithgow and Burt Reynolds, who hosted in 1980. The 2005 remake follows a prison football team forming to challenge the guards.

“Love, Gilda” (12 a.m., CNN) Look back at original “SNL” cast member Gilda Radner’s life and work in this 2018 documentary. Maya Rudolph, Bill Hader, Amy Poehler and Melissa McCarthy read her writings.

Those who would rather just watch an old episode of “SNL” can catch the rerun at 11 p.m. EST. NBC will re-air Season 44, episode 5 with Liev Schreiber hosting and Lil Wayne performing at the musical guest.

“Saturday Night Live” will return with new episodes later this year, but a date has not been set.
