‘Star’ Season 1 Spoilers: Episode 10 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In ‘Boy Trouble’? [VIDEO]

After going through a difficult journey to be stars, the girls are ecstatic to finally get their shot at fame. However, on “Star,” happiness never lasts.

After escaping murder charges on the last episode, the girls are now focused on achieving their dreams, but on “Star” Season 1, episode 10, titled “Boy Trouble,” their chance at fame will come with a price.

“As the young ladies ready for Atlanta Next Fest, a shocking development jeopardizes them and their dreams,” the synopsis teases. In the promo video for the Fox series, Star (Jude Demorest), Simone (Brittany O’Grady) and Alex (Ryan Destiny) are seen at the competition performing and receiving a standing ovation from the crowd.

However, throughout the “Star” Season 1, episode 10 teaser clip Alex, Star, Simone, Jahil (Benjamin Bratt), Carlotta (Queen Latifah) and Derek (Quincy Brown) are seen looking tense as if they are worried about something. What could the shocking news be? Has Otis’ (Darius McCray) murderer been revealed?

“Meanwhile, Carlotta and Cotton (Amiyah King) remain at odds, but a revealed secret changes things forever and the girls get some shocking news,” the synopsis says.

After Pastor Harris (Tyrese Gibson) forced Cotton to admit she was a man and Carlotta stood by watching, Cotton decided to move out of the house. On the last episode of the Fox series, Cotton told Carlotta to go back to her babies, making it seem like she is jealous of her affection towards Star and Simone.

In the promo, Jahil is seen asking the question “What have you done?” and an angry Carlotta yells back the same words to him as he walks away from her.

Despite the dramatic argument, the last few seconds of the promo shows a car crash. “Nothing will prepare you for the jaw-dropping, earth-shaking final five minutes,” the narrator say over the brutal scene. Who is in the car? Will they survive?

“Star” Season 1, episode 10 airs Wednesday at 9:01 p.m. EST on Fox.
