“Star Wars: Episode 9” cast member Joonas Suotamo, who is reprising his role as Chewbacca, has confirmed that there will be multiple twists in the film. The actor didn’t share any details, but said that he wanted to keep the fans on their toes.

When IMDB asked people what their favorite “I did not see that coming” movie moment was on Twitter, Suotamo also replied. The actor wrote that “all” of his next movie is filled with these moments, but added that he can’t tell anyone about them just yet.

“Shhh,” Suotamo jokingly wrote, added a laughing emoji. The actor also wrote, “keep them on their toes,” in his hashtag.

The upcoming film is expected to explore unanswered questions like who the Knights of Ren are and what are their abilities, how dead characters like Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and the Emperor (Ian McDiarmid) will have an impact on the story, who are Rey’s (Daisy Ridley) parents, and what the role of some new and veteran characters will be.

One big moment in “Star Wars: Episode 9” will be the fight between Rey and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver). Ridley was a guest at Josh Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast recently, where she teased some details about the action sequence.

Ridley said that the lightsaber duel between Rey and Kylo Ren is a “great fight.” One reason why the action sequence will be better than before is that the production team made the lightsaber props a lot lighter this time around, and Ridley said that it didn’t feel like they were swinging a heavy sword during filming.

Rey and Kylo Ren have shared a connection in the first two films, which will be explored further in the next film. Ridley called this relationship as a “strange thing” between the two characters.

In a previous interview with USA Today, Ridley teased that “Star Wars: Episode 9” will reveal what the big deal is about her character’s parents. Many fans had speculated that her parents were famous characters, but Kylo Ren confirmed that they were drunks who sold her for some drinks money. Director JJ Abrams however has said that there is more to it than that.
