According to Making Star Wars, a reliable website about leaks info related to the “Star Wars” franchise, there will be three celebrity cameos in the upcoming film. The celebrities will reportedly be playing the roles of Stormtroopers, so the fans will not see their faces in the film.

Ed Sheeran, chef Jaime Oliver and comedian Stephen Colbert will reportedly be playing Stormtroopers in the upcoming film, according to sources. Sheeran and Oliver will reportedly share a scene, while Colbert’s character will appear in a different sequence.

Sheeran and Oliver’s characters will be seen on a snow-covered planet. The First Order will use Snowtroopers on this planet, but the celebrities will be playing stranded Stormtroopers in what may be a funny scene.

There may be a new desert planet in “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.” The first teaser trailer of the film that was released during the Celebration event showed an action sequence involving Rey fighting against a TIE fighter in a desert.

The video, which has been released online on YouTube, has the fans excited about the film. What is particularly interesting in the trailer is the evil laugh of what appears to be Emperor Palpatine. With Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) saying in the voice over that no one is really gone, it remains to be seen who will be brought back in “Star Wars: Episode 9.”

During the panel discussion of the film, the cast members confirmed that Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie) will not return because she is dead, Making Star Wars reported. Meanwhile, the name of Naomi Ackie’s character has been confirmed to be Jannah, and the character will appear in a jungle planet.

“Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” will be released on Dec. 20. The film has been directed by JJ Abrams.
