Katie McGrath would like to cast a popular action star for the role of Lex Luthor on “Supergirl.”

In a recent interview with TVLine, McGrath — who plays Lena Luthor on the CW series — revealed that she would like to see Bruce Willis play her onscreen brother, Lex Luthor. “Bruce Willis, the most amazingly, good-looking, bald man there ever is,” McGrath said when asked to pick any actor she wants to play Lex on “Supergirl.”

“He’s delicious. He’d be a good Lex,” McGrath added of why she would cast the “Die Hard” actor for the role.

Although a young Lex (Aidan Fink) appeared in a couple of flashback scenes in Season 2, episode 12 of “Supergirl,” it’s unclear whether or not an adult version of the character will ever appear on the Melissa Benoist-led series.

“That decision is above my pay grade,” Entertainment Weekly quoted Kreisberg as saying during a press event in February. “But I thought that kid (Fink) was great, and what was so sad is we were watching the casting things, and we were like, ‘Yeah that kid looks like he could grow up to be the most evil person in the world.’”

While fans may never see an adult Lex on the show — probably because Jesse Eisenberg is currently playing the same role on the big screen — Kreisberg revealed that Lex is somehow involved in the show’s Season 2 finale. According to the exec producer, viewers will find out in episode 22 what was in the box Lillian (Brenda Strong) found among Lex’s weapons in the Cadmus bunker back in episode 12.
