“It’s A Wonderful Lifetime 2020” is set to continue with the premiere of the newest holiday film, “A Taste of Christmas,” starring Anni Kreuger and Gilles Marini.

The movie is set to be a real treat for Lifetime fans, because it will be a film bringing new faces to the network for the first time. Kreuger is starring in her first breakout role, while Marini is new to the network’s films, though he previously starred on the show “Devious Maids” as Sebastien Dussault. Other roles he has been known for have been Luc Laurent on “Brothers & Sisters,” Angelo Sorrento on “Switched At Birth” and Ted Laurent on “Days of Our Lives.”

Nia Vardalos also stars in the film, and is likely best known for her roles in films like “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” and “Same Time, Next Christmas,” though she did work on Lifetime previously, starring as the title character in “Poisoned Love: The Stacey Castor Story.”

So what will happen in this holiday film? Plenty of romance is certainly to be expected, but some disagreements and delicious food may also be taking center stage.

“When Natalie (Krueger) learns her cousin Francesca (Vardalos) must cancel the Christmas Eve opening of her new Italian restaurant, Natalie’s heart goes out to all of the guests who were planning on attending,” a synopsis reads. “Since no one should be alone on Christmas, Natalie decides to make the opening happen any way she can. However, the attractive but pessimistic Chef Stefano (Marini) believes it’s impossible—there are only three days until Christmas!”

Natalie remains persistent, however, and the two decide to do whatever they can to make Francesca’s dream a reality. However, as they continue to work together, something else also begins to heat up in the kitchen.

“But Natalie insists that problems are just opportunities in disguise and soon she convinces Stefano that they can do it,” the synopsis reads. “At first, these opposites do not attract, but feelings begin to change when they find themselves working side-by-side. With Stefano’s help, Natalie learns that cooking, like Christmas, isn’t about perfection...it’s about sharing it with the ones you love.”

“A Taste of Christmas” premieres Friday, Nov. 20 at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
