Taylor Swift’s dream run in 2020 continues as her latest album “Evermore” clinched the numero uno position at the Billboard 200 Albums chart for the second consecutive week.

"Evermore" sold 169,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending Dec. 24, Billboard reported citing Nielsen Music/MRC data. According to the data, “Evermore” album sales comprise under 102,000 units, SEA units comprise 66,000 units, and TEA units are composed of a little over 1,000.

The album topped the chart in its debut weekend with 329,000 units and became the musician’s eighth album to claim the top position. This is Swift's second album of the year to do so, making her the first female musician to have two no. 1 albums on Billboard 200 in the same year.

Her previous album, "Folklore," also claimed the top spot for eight weeks and has been nominated for six Grammys. The singer could take home the trophies for album of the year ("Folklore"), song of the year ("Cardigan"), best pop solo performance, and best pop vocal album.

Apart from “Evermore,” Paul McCartney’s highly-anticipated album “McCartney III” also made an entry to the top 5. The album debuted at no. 2 with 107,000 equivalent album units, making him the only artist to have a new album reach the top two in each of the last six decades.

The Beatles member reached the top two eight times in the 1970s, and once each in the ‘80s, ‘90s, 2000s, ‘10s, and ‘20s.

However, the biggest gainer this week was Eminem and his latest musical venture, “Music To Be Murdered By,” which made a jump of 196 positions to claim the third position. The album sold 94,000 equivalent album units in the tracking week ending Dec. 24.

The chart also features six-holiday albums in the top 10 of the latest rankings. Michael Buble’s album “Christmas” claimed the fourth spot while Mariah Carey’s hit album “Merry Christmas” was placed fifth.
