It’s that time of year again when teenagers are the ones left holding the reigns — or should we say remote? On Sunday, July 31, adolescents will flock to their TVs to see which of their favorite celebrities will go home with a coveted surfboard statuette at the 2016 Teen Choice Awards.

The annual event, where viewers ages 13 to 17 are given the opportunity to vote, will celebrate the best achievements made in the entertainment industry over the course of the past year. From music to film and even fashion, audiences can expect several red carpet stars to attend the ceremony, which will be held at The Forum in Inglewood, California.

But having star-studded attendees is just one of the many reasons why viewers should tune in to the Teen Choice Awards, beginning at 8 p.m. EDT on Fox. Check out the top 3 things to look forward to on Sunday night:

1. The Hosts

The Teen Choice Awards are spicing things up a bit by picking a diverse duo to host the upcoming show: John Cena and Victoria Justice.

“There’s going to be some interesting costumes for … something!” the “Rocky Horror Picture Show” actress teased on “Access Hollywood.” “It’s going to be a fun time.”

Justice even stated that she hopes the WWE Raw star “lifts” her up at some point during the show. But let’s just hope that Cena doesn’t perform his signature move, “Attitude Adjustment,” on her!

2. Performances

Audiences will be thoroughly entertained throughout the 2016 Teen Choice Awards when artists take the stage to perform their chart-topping tunes. Singers like Flo Rida, Charlie Puth and Serayah are just some of the major names set to belt out their singles during the exciting event.

3. Decade Awards

Justin Timberlake will receive the biggest honor of the night when he’s presented with the prestigious Decade Award by five-time NBA champion Kobe Bryant. The award celebrates the singer’s “evolution as an artist” over the past 10 years.

Fans aren’t the only ones anxious to see Timberlake take the stage. Justice confessed during an interview with Women’s Wear Daily that she’s crossing her fingers that the “Can’t Stop the Feeling” singer snaps a selfie with her. “I’d love to meet Justin Timberlake and get a picture with him,” she gushed, adding that she once took a photo with him when she was “12 or 13 at the ‘Shrek’ premiere.” “It would be cool to get another one so many years later.”

The 2016 Teen Choice Awards will air Sunday, July 31, at 8 p.m. EDT on Fox.
