Quick Pumpkin Pudding

Pudding is extremely underrated, but you can rectify that (at least within your household) with this Very Best Baking recipe. All that’s needed are a few simple ingredients, like vanilla instant pudding and pumpkin pie mix, to create this seasonal dessert.

Quick Apple Crisp

There’s no need to put together a whole apple pie when this recipe from Taste of Home is just as delicious and a whole lot easier. The microwave is your best friend when it comes to this option.

Thanksgiving Turkey Brownies

Just because brownies are easy to make that doesn’t mean they have to be basic. This Walking on Sunshine recipe shows you how to make them festive with a few quick additions, like candy corn and mini peanut butter cup. Your guests will fawn all over the cute desserts.

Kim Crawford Spiced Moon Martini

Don’t get too bogged down with the idea that a dessert must be a food. Instead, turn to this boozy drink option in a pinch.

Cocktail Ingredients

  • 2 oz Kim Crawford Pinot Noir
  • 1 oz aged rum
  • ¾ oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • ½ oz Spiced Honey Syrup, warm
  • ½ oz egg white
  • Freshly-grated cinnamon for garnish

Spiced Honey Syrup Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup honey
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • Peel from half of orange
  • 6 cloves

For the syrup, add all ingredients to a medium saucepan and cook over medium heat. Continue to stir until it’s nice and warm. Remove it from the flame and strain it to leave just the liquid syrup.

Add all of the drink ingredients (except cinnamon) to a cocktail tin, and shake it until you can feel the concoction start to foam. Throw in some ice, and shake hard for about 10-15 seconds. Once that’s done, double-strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass, and sprinkle with cinnamon.

The Kim Crawford company notes: “The consumption of raw or undercooked eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness.”
