TikTok star Nessa Barrett, whose height has been always been a topic of discussion, recently slammed rumors that she had shortened her spine.

The rumor started circulating after she appeared in a video with fellow content creator LuvAnthony in May. Several people were quick to point out the major height difference between the two. Since then, social media users have been making jokes on her height, with some even commenting she must have undergone "spine shortening."

Speaking to reporters at The Hollywood Fix Saturday, Barrett, who stands at 5ft 3in, shut down the bizarre rumors.

"I just find it stupid because people know I'm insecure about my height. They just want to make jokes about it, but it's fine," she told the reporters.

A portion of the interview was shared on First Ever TikTok Shaderoom’s Instagram page. Several people took to the comments section to slam those "bullying" Barrett for being short.

"Why do people want to know sizes? It’s their body, and you don’t need to judge it," one person wrote on Instagram

"Can y’all give her a break? it’s not her fault she’s short and it’s not a bad thing she’s short," another person commented.

Recently, Barrett had requested paparazzi to leave her alone and not record her after she was captured crying during dinner with friends at Saddle Ranch in Los Angeles.

"My mental health issues are so serious and personal. Don’t record me while I’m going through something and post it please," she had tweeted.

Several of her fans had supported her and asked the paparazzi to not record people at their vulnerable moments.

In July, Barrett, who was constantly bullied for allegedly being the reason behind Chase Hudson and Charli D’Amelio’s breakup, opened up about her struggles with mental health.

"I’ve been in therapy for anxiety since I was like, six. And then, when I was about 14, I was misdiagnosed with depression. And then, recently, I have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder," the TikToker said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
