Helen Davis, popular on TikTok as Grandma Holla, has died aged 97. Her granddaughter Michelle Williams announced the news of her passing in a Facebook live video.

"I just wanted to come on and let everybody know our queen is gone... My grandmother passed away today, or was pronounced today at 5 o'clock. I want to thank ya'll so much for you know the smiles ya'll put on her face you know in her last days it really means the world to me. It meant the world to her. She passed away in her sleep. She went out peacefully," Michelle said in a video Saturday.

For those wondering the cause of Grandma Holla's death, it wasn't just old age that took away TikTok's favorite grandma who loved to cuss, Distractify reported. Holla was reportedly fighting an advanced form of cancer, and the same was confirmed by her granddaughter. "She's not in pain anymore. No more cancer, no more morphine, no more... none of that. So that's what's really keeping me together," she said, adding, "Ya'll made her days amazing."

For those who didn't know Grandma Holla and don't understand the hype about her, she was iconic by all means. She could check someone without looking at them, all this from her hospital bed, here's an example.

In the words of the nerdy genius character Jacob Hill from "Abbott Elementary," the Internet is a very busy place. However, Ms. Holla rose above the noise, created a niche for herself, and secured a huge following of people who adored and loved her. She rose to fame sometime in 2021 after Michelle posted a video of her on TikTok and since then there was no looking back.

Grandma Holla with her hot savage takes on just about anything won over the Internet. She never jumped on the trend bandwagon but still continued to thrive. The Internet never forgets. While Holla's physical form no longer exists, her videos will continue to cheer her loyal followers who are devastated by her death.

"Ms Holla died. That was my internet grandma. I hate that but Lord knows 90+ years on this earth is a blessing. Rest In Peace," tweeted a follower.
