Sony Pictures debuts Andy Serkis’ “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” official logo and releases more information about the movie sequel. The second installation of the “Venom” film series will be top-billed by Woody Harrelson, who is playing the role of Carnage alongside Tom Hardy, playing the titular role.

According to CBR, the movie already has a title reveal and a renewed release date. The movie will lean heavily on Harrelson, who plays Cletus Kasady, the unhinged serial killer who serves as the host for the murderous symbiote, Carnage. The actor already played a part in 2018’s origin movie, where he was teased after the post-credits rolled.

No information has been made available on whether Spider-Man will make an appearance in the movie. Tom Holland plays the Web-Crawler in the MCU, but it appears that this movie is focused on the anti-hero Venom, as well as his free-killing counterpart.

Meanwhile, Tom Hardy is into full-teasing mode regarding the recent revelations of the “Venom” sequel. If the movie features a cameo from Spider-Man, it might not be what everyone expects as Hardy tweeted artwork featuring Venom gnawing down on the Web-head.

According to Games Radar, the tweet was salvaged by internet sleuths and features the venomous one gnashing his teeth on Spidey’s remains. It could be the actor’s own way to hype up the sequel; after all, there is every chance that Spider-Man could make an appearance in the movie, given the history of the character with "Venom" Eddie Brock and Kasady in the comic books.

The MCU has a tendency of creating modified origins for their characters, so Harrelson’s Carnage might have a slightly modified story in the movie. The circumstances of his incarceration might also be explored in the movie as well. Michelle Williams will make a comeback as Anne Weying, while Naomie Harris will portray the villainous Shriek.

“Venom” turned out to be a surprise at the box office instead of the flop it was expected to be. Harrelson teased that he and Hardy would share top-billing. “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” is expected to release on June 25, 2021.
