Tom Holland is against the idea of having a sex scene in "Spider-Man" after the newly released Marvel movie, "Eternals," made headlines for featuring the first sex scene in the superhero franchise.

The 25-year-old actor believes that showing sex scenes in "Spider-Man" movies will be inappropriate because they are "still very much young kids." Although Holland agreed that in the future when the characters are grown up, they can explore the physical aspect of a relationship.

"I don't think it's appropriate for the Spider-Man franchise," Holland told Yahoo! Entertainment on Wednesday. "We are still very much young kids. Should there be a future for this character maybe one day we will explore that."

"But at the moment, this is a film about celebrating friendships and young love," he added.

Holland's co-star Zendaya, who is also his girlfriend in real life, is also of the same opinion. She said many fans consider Peter Parker's character (who turns into Spider-Man in the movie) as their little brother.

"No one wants to see Peter Parker having sex! That would be horrible," Holland said.

"Eternals" was released on Nov. 11 and the sex scene in the movie had mixed reactions from the audience. While Marvel movies previously had romance scenes between different couples, including Tony Stark and Pepper Potts, this was the first time the characters were shown having sex.

Zendaya also spoke about the relationship between Peter and MJ and the stunt scenes in the movie.

"We get to do them [stunts] together; they're a lot of fun," Zendaya noted.

However, the actress admitted that Holland's stunts were much more difficult compared to her.

"Maybe not for you, because I'm worried that you're going to pass out. You have a giant camera attached to your chest and back!" she added.

Holland also explained how difficult it was to wear a harness and a suit while making sure that the camera captured everything. She joked that Zendaya was lucky that she was in her T-shirt and jeans.

"I wear the harness, and then the camera goes over the harness and the suit goes over the camera," Holland explained. "You obviously are lucky enough that you're in jeans and a T-shirt and living your best life while we're attached to each other!"

"Spider-Man: No Way Home" is directed by Jon Watts and it will hit the theaters this Friday.
