Joining the four major US carriers, the nation's sixth largest carrier U.S. Cellular has announced that it will launch the latest Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone in July with preorders beginning June 12.

Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer HTC is going to make handsets that will be certified for Sony PlayStation Suite. Yes, it has just been announced that the Japanese multinational conglomerate will be partnering with HTC to create phones for a new program, named as PlayStation Mobile.

HTC has provided a complete list of devices on its website with timeline for receiving the updates. According to the company, the majority of devices will be getting the updates in June and July while the entire process of updating all the announced devices is expected to be finished in August.

Keeping his followers in the loop, the hacker has also released a formal list in which he has clearly mentioned the devices that would be supported by the ensuing iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak.
