Troian Bellisario got candid about her emotions when she attended Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding.

In an interview with Stellar, the "Pretty Little Liars" star revealed that she had "extreme anxiety" when she attended the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's big day. According to her, the angst was due to her outfit she wore for the event.

"Of course I did, and I had it two-fold," Bellisario answered when asked about outfit anxiety.

"One, because I was trying to conceal the fact that I was five months pregnant. I was absolutely positive that it was going to be revealed. But I also had extreme anxiety about… what are they called? Those hat things?"

Bellisario was referring to fascinators. According to her, one looks ridiculous in it unless it's in the 1930s.

"You could get one that is an absolute piece of art, but then are you being too vain and trying to call too much attention to yourself? Or if you get a fascinator that’s very small, are you not going for tradition?" she continued.

"I’d never needed a fascinator in my life, and here I was trying to walk this tightrope of “don’t go too big, don’t go too small. It was a nightmare."

Bellisario also shared how she confronted her stylist Annabelle Harron about her headdress. The Aussie stylist guaranteed the actress that her outfit was fine.

"If the British press tears me apart, I can never forgive you for this," Bellisario told Harron.

Bellisario wasn’t alone in her struggles when it comes to choosing a fascinator for the royal wedding. Prince Harry's ex Cressida Bonas also shared that dressing up and choosing a hat for a royal wedding had been “tricky" for her.

"Friends are starting to get married, which means the dilemma of British wedding attire. Hats," Bonas wrote. "Why do I find hats so tricky? Tricky to wear, tricky to look at, and extremely tricky for the poor soul sitting in the pew behind. Most of the time I avoid headgear. This can prompt disapproving looks from the older generations."

"Last weekend I attended the royal wedding. The invitation clearly stated that guests must wear hats. Yikes. I opted for a minimal feathered number — and can only hope I got it right.”
