Truth About Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani Hunting For Home To Hold Wedding

A new report claimed Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton were hunting for a multi-million dollar home “where they’ll exchange vows.” However, Gossip Cop debunked the report after speaking to Stefani’s spokesperson.
RadarOnline reported the two were touring $10 million mansions in Hidden Hills, California, where they were planning to get married. The blog also quoted an insider saying, “They’ve been looking for the perfect love nest, one with a large, lavish garden where they can exchange vows before all of their friends and family.”
The alleged source further stated the couple “act like teenagers in love” while checking out the houses and was “even been caught kissing while previewing homes and strolling down the manicured streets.”
Speaking about what the two stars felt about Hidden Hills, the alleged insider said, they love “the whole country feel of the area. It’s a place where they could keep his and hers horses and go for romantic rides at sunset.”
The report came a few days after its sister publication, Star, falsely reported the two were getting “frisky” in homes they’ve looked to buy together. It had stated they headed straight to the houses’ bedrooms to “make out,” or check if they had “the right vibe.”
The new fabricated report, however, added a new angle to the already debunked rumors by stating they were planning to hold their wedding at the new house.
Gossip Cop checked with Stefani’s spokesperson that went on record to confirm the two weren’t looking for homes together and the premise of the story was totally untrue.
This is not the first time Gossip Cop was busting the blog for wrongly reporting about the two singers. Earlier this year, the blog had falsely reported Shelton and Stefani were quitting Hollywood and moving to the Midwest after an alleged miscarriage. However, the report was false as it never happened.
Stefani and Shelton became close on the sets of "The Voice" after their split from their partners in 2015. Shelton’s representative confirmed their romance in November 2015, saying the two are longtime friends who have very recently started dating. The two made their first public appearance as a couple at the Vanity Fair Oscars after party in February 2016. Stefani shares three kids with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, sons Zuma, Apollo and Kingston.
Earlier this year, Shelton said though he had marriage on his mind, it will not happen anytime soon.
“I think about it. I don’t think it’s anytime soon or anything. The more time that goes by, I guess, the closer you’d be getting to that,” he said.
