Did Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston, Amal and George Clooney have a double date?

A year ago, New Idea published a report claiming that Clooney pulled strings behind-the-scenes to get Aniston and Pitt back together. A so-called insider alleged that there would soon be “double dates with George, wife Amal and Brad and Jen.”

The tipster added that following Aniston’s split from Justin Theroux, Clooney “stepped up [his] efforts“ to help Pitt and Aniston reconcile now that both are single.

Gossip Cop debunked the report by pointing out that it was a “complete fabrication.” Also, Pitt and Aniston are not an item and they certainly are not going on “double dates” with the Clooneys.

Pitt and Aniston’s fans have been very hopeful that they will eventually get back together. Following Aniston and Theroux’s announcement that they were separating, a number of netizens were heartbroken for a short time but then they became pleased knowing that Aniston and Pitt are now both single and since then there have been a lot of false reports involving the exes.

There was one report claiming that Pitt and Aniston got married in Paris. The pair allegedly decided to make their reconciliation official by exchanging vows during a romantic and super-secret getaway in Paris, but it wasn’t true because Pitt and Aniston were not seeing each other.

Last month, the exes have finally reunited when Pitt showed up at Aniston’s 50th birthday party. Again, there were claims that they got married on the same event because they couldn’t organize a wedding without the plans being leaked, so they took Aniston’s birthday bash as the perfect opportunity to exchange “I dos” for the second time.

Pitt and Aniston also reportedly enjoyed a Cabo vacation following her birthday celebration. Pitt reportedly wanted to reunite with Aniston away from prying eyes, so he arranged a lavish vacation with the help of the “Friends” alum’s close pal Courteney Cox. During their alleged trip, Pitt told his first ex-wife that he “never gave up on us.”

Again, the report was false. While it’s true that Aniston flew to Mexico following her birthday celebration, she was not with Pitt. Instead, she enjoyed a vacation there with her friend, Cox.
